What happens during the first session at Young Sprouts Therapy?

For adults and parents, we help with anxiety, burnout, low mood, parenting stress, life transitions, and trauma. For couples, we address communication difficulties, recurring conflict, emotional distance, and life changes.

Are therapy services covered by insurance?

Many extended health benefits plans cover therapy with Registered Psychotherapists, Registered Social Workers, or Occupational Therapists. Because each plan is different, we encourage you to confirm coverage with your insurance provider. We provide receipts for reimbursement.

What are your fees and cancellation policy?

Fees depend on the type of service and therapist and follow professional guidelines for mental health services in Ontario. We ask for advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so we can offer the time to another client. Your therapist will review the full cancellation policy during intake.
